life sucks when you're dead. was it worth the lifestyle? who knows. maybe for him it was. maybe he lived it down to the bone (no pun). he was born into it and he died into it. los angeles gangster lifestyle is so childish, yet they don't know anything else. he was a victim of his environment. guilty by association. at least he empowered himself enough to see outside his box and focus on his goals. it's an easy game to talk, but hard to walk. these days getting into the hip hop game must be harder than ever. there's so much shit out there that you now need your licks and your bag of tricks. and you better not sound like MC Whatshisfuck from the 90's or be cookie cutter shite because there's a much wider audience to impress now. if he didn't know that at first, i'm sure it became clear to him at some point when you realizing you're a product and you better not be just another Action Jackson or GI Joe because they don't sell anymore. and the last thing someone who has broken through into the mainstream wants, especially when they are in the business of communication, is to not have a voice or a special place on the rack. so i'm sure he went through some changes, regardless if he was outspoken about it or not. who knows, he might have quietly been soaking it all in. but they say your first bit of real success is the one that shapes you. most become complacent with their first success and treat it frivolously. these are the ones that never go beyond being a one hit wonder, if even that. they don't advance and usually they all their friends talk about what could have been. the ones that advance and actually carve a name out for themselves, are far more humble. maybe they put on a front, but they are already light years ahead of all their friends. whatever was clever, his story is now set in stone. it probably always was and he probably knew it was time to head on. the universe is expanding and we are part of it. there is no hell. it was all a lie to enslave you to your own guilt. god is positive and negative. you gotta have the bad to balance out the good. however it worked out, this guy probably successfully moved on with the expanding universe. his next existence will most likely be on a higher level. all experiences are relative to the cycle of life. and he got somewhere, we're talking about him, and he was not just another in the faceless crowd. feel sorry for him if you will, but his short life probably was more meaningful than those who live to be 95 years old and who stayed on the straight and narrow. flares burn bright. and die just as fast. he is lucky to be able to have fulfilled his dream and then to be able to move on so quickly. short and sweet.
