Lebanese singer-actress Carole Samaha expressed she is pleased with her new title 'Jewel of Arab Art'.
She posted on her "Nas MBC" blog she hopes she lives up to her title, which was awarded to her by the administration of the Mawazine Festival in Rabat.
She added she felt overwhelmed with happiness when she sang in front of 80,000 people on the Al Nahda stage, indicating she sang for an hour and a half.
She also thanked the audience who attended her concert, and hopes to take part in upcoming editions of the festival.
She concluded by stating she will travel to Egypt soon to resume filming her scenes in the series "Al Shahroura".
